hi guys, what can i use to lube my stem...erm i mean when i extend it the carbon pole is very tight and its a real battle to get it out to the right length...dam this gets worse the more i type.


anyways i dont want to use anything that will damage the carbon ...any ideas?

For a while now I have been using covers on my stem, it is not an answer to your question more of a preventative solution especially when it is dry and dusty. I tried to post images but it won't let me, so if you want to see what they look like scroll to the bottom of my CTX workshop page

candle wax realy easy thats what i use on the joints of my fishing pole,just rub a candle on the carbon section

Unfortunately wax will pick up sand...

its a bit like a bank account - when you withdraw it you lose interest

You could try KY Jelly alot of members swear by it.
