Finds from 5 hunts with the CTX3030

    CTX 3030

    Canadian silver dimes.

$9.90 clad dime coin roll. Short 1 dime.

    1934 George V Nickel.

Nitro moment ring, but it's plated junk.

Quite a few pennies including clad, copper pennies from 70's 60's, 50's. And a few clad nickels, dimes, quarters, and 1$ - 2$ coins. And a couple of musketballs.

If anyone's interested the 1$ and 2$ Canadian coins rang up 11-39, the dime rang up 12-36 with a fluff fluff sound mixed in. The quarter the same range and fluffy sounds too.

I hunt in ferrous-coin, combined with open screen.

    Hello
Some nice silver coins. Love the nickle.
Does the CTX pick up the latest Canadian clad with the iron core? Could you beach hunt for clad in Canada?
This was said to be problematic to some with other machines.
Keep you stick on the ice EH!

Someone posted that the new clad shows up on open screen on the CTX with a target trace from lower right up to around 11-39ish but so far I've only found mid 90's toonie and loonie. They hit dead on 11-39. Dimes and quarters seem to have a tiny high tone and a fluffy(fluff fluff) sound as you pass over them. Something to tune your ear for. I'll try grabbing some new loonies/toonies and test them soon.
