I take it from the condition of the coins you find them stuck in a nice layer with little or no oxygen? Like the better ones that come up from the Thames.

Hi ex my spelling but just got back into the hobby again and the Q i have can you use a detector on the river bed with out permition ie i know the bank each side has an owner but how about the river bed itself.
if a river has public acess to it then can i use the detector only on the river bed with out permiton.
