An average day detecting...some red, some green, some gold and silver...

You gonna see a lot of posting from my detecting in the future. This is what I mainly detect,or can detect in Sweden. Not that I think its the most interesting detecting but sure is good practice.

This is from my latest outing in the park.8 silver coins in the front of image, the bigger one goes for sale at 2.50£each and the golden 10 kronor coin is a equal 1£ each them I like to find

Some other newer and older ören also. The 1 krona coin gets red except the ones I found in the water.

I was using my Xterra 705 with the 6"DD,very good in trashy parks and beaches, but it doesnt cover that much ground so a small area can last for days if you go slow.

The silvercoin always ring in at 32-34 TID or VID if not very deep.

So this was my sunday post.I will do a monday as well.

    Great hunting to ya all

    Thanks Nuke em!
I had some pennys from early 1900. Last foreign coin was a Irish Eire 1971. Very good signal on the Xterra.
Yes the Etrac is much better in wet sand. And I think in parks too ,due to the better discrimination.

    Nice
Looks like you had an amazing session, did it feel unreal when they kept on popping out?
    Great stuff

    Hi Mark!
Long time no see. How are you?
    Will you come to Corfe?

Yes it was good session but nothing out then normal. There is just so much signals in the ground, and since I do all metal ,after a while the ears really get tired listening to the constant beep.

Almost every ground in Sweden is virgin ground due to prohibition of metal detecting( if you dont have the special permission)
So you can imagen how much diggable stuff we have.

In this place where I found this coins and of course a lot of bottle caps and other junk, is a park with a small beach. I cant beleive how much stuff still coming up. I have been working this place since 1979-1983 and now under a year when I took MD up again.

My brother was out as well and he scored about the same amount of coins and also a 7 gram 23 carat gold ring..lucky *******

We are usually out for à 4-8 hour session, bring some coffee, sandwiches for those needed brakes.

If we where allowed to work fields here I bet we would be coming up with some viking, iron, bronze age finds.
I have permission to a few good fields, but far away from where I live.

Well hope to see you in Corfe, mate...

    Moparado!!
Yes I know it sounds crazy but it is true just the same..
Most of the times we are out, there are always some silver and a lot of clad found. Every now and then an older find and rings also.

Our favorite beach contains so much silver its hard to take in...no bragging...

But the Etrac always find more silver, is it luck, maybe..but I believe Etrac with 6x8 SEF is a real winner in this kind of ground.

    Cheers

Your more then welcome. But getting the permit takes everything from
2 weeks to a year. I have been waiting 6 months with no answer yet on a couple of parks.

Its all about the person who handles the papers. Also you need to mark the area you want to detect on a map.
I have permission that lasts a year. But also 1 month at the time only in another county. All just to make it complicated for us MD-people.

Nice but of digging Mike. Getting practice for your trip to UK. You better start driving on the other side of the road for a few weeks before you pick me at the airport. In Sweden you must be able to drive for at least an hour before meeting another car so it should be easy.
    See you soon mate.

Nice isn't it. so long as you have a reliable vehicle it is very pleasant. Not sure about the guy in the back seat taking pictures.
