That brooch is defiantly roman the bracelet looks like it is also but I have not seen one like it before. I would get it over to the flo ASAP and see what they say. Looks a super piece so well done.

It's a classical stone, so is it Roman or Anglo Saxon or Georgian? I'd say not Georgian, although it's a possibility. I can't work out whether it's solid or plated, the area around the stone looks plated. Either way it's one for the experts. Very exciting

The enamelled brooch definitely Roman - very nice indeed! The intaglio in the bracelet is Roman but I think the bracelet is modern though how modern I don't know! Not seen anything quite like it. Very intriguing!

FLO has taken the bracelet away and she has never seen anything like it before and apparently it is Roman as is the smaller disc brooch. I will keep you updated as I get more info.

Two incredible finds, the enamel on that brooch is stunning. And the bracelet...... I can't quite decide? But if the FLO says it's Roman I suppose it has to be? Looks like your mate has come up trumps

Re: ID Please 2 possible Roman finds

Fantastic find. Could it be a roman military decoration or award? I believe that some of their military decoration/awards included torque-like decoration fixed onto their armour and leather fittings and such. You lucky devil Foxy
