Anyone near Burnley willing to help Steve out with his ctx3030 ?
He needs help with setting his ctx for pasture detecting .He has a hearing dissability and is struggling with setting the tones right.

I live in Burnley and know Steve very well, but ive no experience with this new fangled machine.But im an expert with the E-Trac
I told him to log on here and start asking questions, his vocabulary and spelling take a bit of getting used to as hes profoundly deaf but if he gets here, you,ll soon catch his drift.

Just what problems are you having with it Steve??? Im waiting for an answer off a lad i know who has one and lives in Padiham,trying to arrange for you both to go out together and let him help you get started.

Steve, if you get to read this, the lad in question is in Torquay at the moment, but he said he,ll happily help you.Im gonna try arrange for you to meet him either take him on one of your sites or come over to Padiham (pasture) on Sunday 4th August. and he,ll help you out. ok thanks garry 3 things i still dont know about pattern 1/2 i cant see where to reject iron and coke zone or level (iffy) all rest accept (beep) i am look for that ,how to adjust them. ! and resize, tone id, khz etc adjust them too and full 0 to 95 in meter rather than 11 to 13.0

Ive no idea on that Steve, but i hope someone on here can also help.

May be you should download gordons programs if your not to sure how to make your own
Open the combined program in your xchange2 program
Then adjust the tones to suit your hearing
Then copy the program to your CTX
If Gary J lives near you maybe he can download xchange2 and gordons programs and have aplay around with the tones for you (you dont need the ctx to open and play around with programs in xchange2).Then he can pop round and set the ctx for you.

You dont need the disc as xchange2 software can be downloaded from minelab site
http://www.minelab.com/emea/apps

Then download gordons programs ,open them in xchange2 ,Then you can play around with the tones and patterns to suit.
