Video demonstrating Blisstool on salt water beach - in wet sand

Here is a video done recently.
It shows "BASIC SETTINGS" for using the Blisstool on a wet sand salt water beach.
One buried object to show how it reacts to a known target and then off he went detecting...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=1zbdydn1dII

An "ADVANCED SETTINGS" video is coming soon - more aggressive settings for those that are comfortable and experienced with the machine..

excellent video - some great info there

Re: Video demonstrating Blisstool on salt water beach - in wet sand

Keep the coil an inch or two off the sand, dont let it touch the wet sand or it falses, work slowly, dont ground balance etc etc .

Why not just say this machine is not really designed for wet beach work because that is what it amounts to like most single frequency machines.

My recommendation is if any of you folks want to search the wet beach get a minelab FBS machine no worrying about ground balance, no falsing from touching the sand, put your sens up high and dont worry, no need to raise coil from ground etc etc - simples!

    Geordie-Hound,

This machine is not like most other single frequency machines. Having owned one for a short time now i am very pleased and impressed with it.

I have used other detectors and have owned my Excalibur 1000 since it came out many years ago, before that a excalibur sword and to be fair i am getting targets at better depths with the Blisstool.

My excalibur nulls over iron and i have trouble pulling targets out that are close to iron but the Blisstool just bangs out letting me know both are there.

With the blisstool there is no listening for whispering targets or for slight changes in tone, it just hits hard on the target no matter what the depth. This machine really does have to be seen to be believed. I own one and have seen it and still have trouble believing it

Of course what the Blisstool can not do is go in the water like my excalibur does and find me the bling so Excalibur and Blisstool V3 are a winning combo for me.

Dare I say this but knowing JPM he was a big big fan of his fairy stick deus. Now I have to say if he bows down from the pedestal of dues not so worthy then bliss must be pretty dam good.
Pity they did not take an etrac as i would have loveed to have compared that against it

If you don't get it by then mike you can borrow mine while I'm using the CTX
Why Waste time using an ordinary detector when you have the option to own a CTX3030.

So If it doesn't turn up then Richard the obvious sensible thing to do on that dig would be to put the ctx together that your nursemaiding and use that

I wish all those about to buy a bliss, all the very best, especially those who want to detect gold on the top of a sand bar. LOL. For the rest of you, who really want to use it on the saturated, wet, salt, sand; Goood luck

Got a refund on the Bliss I ordered after a 9 week wait it really was taking the 'P'

It was all turning into negative karma so I pulled the plug.

I do wish people wouldn't sell what they haven't got to supply.

Having said that, was constantly updated with new eta's - but enough was enough for me.

There is absolutely no doubt I will be getting one when they are more readily available.

Folk shouldn't knock the Eastern European gear - they make some great stuff (look at the SEF/ NEL coils)

Sure the detector has rotary knobs & looks like something out of the dark ages of detectors - but don't judge it on looks, in fact don't judge it until you have used one.

I truly believe it will raise many an eyebrow.

Karl you should have waited mate I know its a long wait, mine was 11 weeks, just should have put it in the back of your mind and it would have arrived in the next batch I reckon. Your not wrong on your judgment of it either its certainly going to raise some eyebrows. I see Rocky is waiting for one also, hopefully he will have more patience than you

Just as well you don't then and let people make their own minds up instead of listening to your twaddle.

Just don't treat it like the CTX when it comes Richard, use the ruddy thing and get some feedback out there to shut some of your neighbours up at least Yours must be due any time.
