Take a look here guys at the awesome depths the Blisstool V3 is capable of. Not bad for a 700 quid machine that comes with 2 coils. Glad I sold the Deus now I knew it was second rate all along Im enjoying using the CTX and the Bliss as a combination, two totally different machines to keep me on my toes.

Interesting video Tony - but why the tiny coil on the Deus against a 15 and an 11 inch coil? Bit of a handicap I'd have thought! They really should be comparing like with like. Still the bliss does look pretty good.

Tony, perhaps I could ask you to test your machine on the beach on saturated salt sand and see if you can find thin gold chains like another vid showed, but nobody else could replicate?

The video shoot was done really to show the different coil sizes It wasn't designed to diss the deus particularly. The deus really struggled on the difficult ground and couldnt barely see the hammered at 9" let alone the deeper ones.
Dont know why you couldnt see the video Goldfinger its there and working, Fertler viewed it and so can I if I click the link. Videos have been made by the American distributors of the Bliss on salt beaches showing it with thin gold chains. I dont do beaches Im afraid, just dont have the time and not interested.

When I had the Deus Roybert I had both coils and quite honestly had more success with the smaller coil, I personally didn't rate the large coil at all which seemed to be a lot of peoples view also on the forums.

OK, but what I am getting at is this; we can all be deceived by trickery and as I have asked guys on the other forum to try to do the same test, they have all failed to do so.
I'll personally see if Nuke em can find a gold chain, or anything in wet sand, when he finally gets his machine delivered.

Strange how The Deus was only tried in 12 & 18 kHZ when for depth, I would have prefered to use 8kHz setting or even have given the 4 kHz a try. And of course fitted my 13" coil on as well, but no, the two deeper depth kHz modes wern`t even tried ,or the 13" coil. To my way of thinking IF your going to try another detector against what your primarily showing ,at least give the other detector all its weaponry available ,to give it a sporting chance,& not half a chance. There`s no doubt in my mind as some one who`s aware of the Blisstools capability it does indeed do whats shown, but I find incomprehensible to show an attempt by the Deus when the 13" coil wasn`t fitted ,or the other two lower kHz modes tried. Not had a chance to get out much with it yet Jon, weathers been atrocious down here in Dorset. Had a couple of bronze Roman last weekend with it on a short trip out. What Ive seen of it so far I love. Been experimenting with all the different tones & sounds possible along with lots of different setups that Gordon has made up for it. Looking forward to getting on some decent fields with it when the crops are off.

i think the deus would find it no probs with the 13 inch coil so the test would be a bit boring so thats why they didnt use it

Would have thought that bob would have shown the Deus in a better light if it had been possible on the day, as you know he loves the Deus as much as the Bliss. There was no trickery in the filming, I think you'll agree that Daryn isn't that sort of bloke.

So what they got to do then Tombs is to do a proper test with the Deus 13" coil fitted and use the lower khz settings as well then you will believe the difference They got nothing to prove with the Bliss the performance of that was as clear as crystal. The Groat coming through loud and clear at 15" was pretty awesome I thought, it was performance like that that convinced me to buy one. I have several worked out Roman hotspots that need to have a fresh approach on them, the Deus failed miserably using all the settings and the big coil. I have the option now of the CTX fitted with the 17" coil or the Bliss with the 15", going to be interesting times this autumn.

Jeb knows them both pretty well he was a moderator on the Bliss forum for a while. I have found Daryn very honest and straight down the line, looks don't mean a thing.

Why does no one ever manually ground ballance the deus when testing? Would think it would make a difference. Wonder what the blisstool would do on those tests if you didn't bother ground ballance that.

Hi Tony, I didn`t see any mention (unless I missed it) that the soil was difficult soil they were on.
I`m also amazed at this constant reference to the Deus being useless on difficult soil. ???
Personally I`ve never had that problem.
I can honestly say to anyone thats sceptical about these Videos that they are categorically NOT doctored, or there`s no trickery involved.
I mean why would anyone do that knowing fully well that if when you bought the machine ,you would soon find out you`d been duped. And it wouldn`t take long before that got out and you`d be in the proverial as soon as.
No, there`s no trickery involved, but I just wish that if the the Deus is going to be shown in comparison, it would be given its full available powers and not the small 9" coil in the two top end kHz modes, which is NOT a fair choice of available settings or coils which the Deus has.

no im not criticizing the test i know the difficulty's of trying to get the deus to work on a test bed and after doing that mine is up for sale

Thanks for that Jeb I have found him to be the same. I think possibly he shouldnt even have shown the Deus in that video, he didnt do it with the intention of showing it up, he and bob were more interested in showing what the Bliss is capable of. Its not an easy machine to learn as you know but once mastered its a killer.

yeah i continually judge every thing and every one around me by what i see and hear, my judgements change as i learn more about people and situations...........thats why im asking about him because i want to learn what he is like but only have the info i have seen on the video which could be misleading.

I cannot verify the sand question as I don`t detect on the sand . Which particular Video on wet sand are you questioning , the american one ?
