ctx finds from this evening

i managed 2hrs this evening, spent one of them knee deep in a river where i found a huge lump of lead and half a 22 case, decided im not doing that again until the water goes down and iv got a proper scoop.
after that i thought i would have a quick walk round the field, fortunately i did a bit better there.

I was thinking the same thing. I'd be doing the happy dance alright if I ever found a hammered of any type. Thanks for posting Tombs!

That's a very nice selection of finds from such a brief search. I especially like the hammered - well done.

It looks as if (like last year) my hammered finds in June are going to be nil but that's how it goes.
