    Mystery Item

From the last video I made Metal Detecting with Dave 11th June 2012 I found a mystery item which I managed to clean up without breaking, has anyone any idea what it is and how old it could be, it looks a little like its made from pewter I know its a Chinese gent with a water jug or summet like that but what exactly could it be?

Why Waste time using an ordinary detector when you have the option to use a GPX4800.

Is the smaller piece in the middle attached?

Is it part of the other side of the object which may have been circular at one point?

I agree with omegamike that it may be a Santa carrying a bag. I will add to that by saying that it may have been either a Christmas ornament or bell of some sort.

It looks complete WIT, I cannot see anywhere on it for a loop or any kind of fitting on the back for a pin.. Strange one aint it? But interesting non the less.
