It seems JOAN ALLEN are well known for NEVER giving discounts???? Although I have only been told thats true??
Will Platinum members benefit in any way, ie discounts, % off, exclusive offers, etc, etc

Well i gotta say, when i bought my Etrac a couple of years ago i got a fantastic deal through Pete [Flossyrockstar] at J.Allen well pleased with `em.

Detecnicks are alive and well and Iam assured that we will all be treated as well in the future as we have been in the past.

It is essential that we keep the small dealers in business if we dont the the hobby will be the poorer for us not doing so. Jerry. :wink:

I have dealt with laura at detecnicks for many years and will continue to do so as the service and after service have always been great and I'm sure if you mention minelab owners they will still be there to help

Couldn't agree more Jerry, for Detecnicks to offer us 10% off is great.
I hope it is borne in mind that Detecknicks need our support probably more than Joan Allen do. Laura quoted me a great price recently for another Minelab detector.

I will ALWAYS give Detectnicks first option with any purchase I make, their stock levels aren't so great - a couple of times, through necessity, I have had to buy from JA but I have to say that their service has been great also.

I just like Laura's friendliness & thus they will always be my first port of call.

For me, its not always about price - as long as its reasonably competitive.

On a personal point of veiw... this forum needs to survive and commercial needs dictate. Detecnicks have decided to with draw from sponsorship of this forum and Joan Allen have stepped up to take the mantle. I have nothing against Laura and Nick (detecknicks) but business is business is business. Without Jona Allen this forum would struggle to exist.
While I appreciate loyalties etc. etc. Please remember that all this service with the forum doesnt come for free.
Many thanks to Joan Allen for their support... and I do hope that our MLO members will support them with business.

A good thing about Joan Allan is Flossy is a regular on the forum and makes an effort, he will be able to answer questions quickly and give feedback etc :thumbs:
