I always like All Terrain/All Weather capability.

The only minor greavance I've noticed myself thinking of was the Li-ion battery.

Mike have you tried your county records office I have maps covering vast areas of North Wales. They are obviously not as pretty as google maps but do

Can you not use overlay in google earth? I have used it a few times to put historical maps in the current map.
